Identity, Packaging & Promotion

Scottish indie folk darlings Admiral Fallow’s debut album Boots Met My Face was warmly received by audiences in the UK when it initially surfaced in the Spring of 2010. This success led to a US release the following year, with the album being officially re-released in the UK at the same time.

When it came to revisiting the artwork, a straightforward decision was taken to move
Luke G Joyce’s Isle of Mull boat wreck shots, from within the packaging (on the original release) to centre stage. The wider promotion of the release included one-off CD packaging for the Subbuteo single, flyers and posters for the band’s UK and US tours (which included an appearance at South by Southwest in Austin), and a special limited edition numbered poster commemorating a headline show at Celtic Connections in Glasgow to mark the end of an action-packed year.
