National Museums Scotland | Review 2016
The world renowned National Museums Scotland uniquely brings together science, art, the natural world and the diversity of human cultures, inviting visitors to explore the world under one roof. The Review 2016 publication looked back on a year which saw the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the National Museum of Scotland, the opening of ten magnificent new galleries, over 2·4 million visitors and the development
of a new strategic plan for the institution.
An inviting print format was devised for the publication, with a friendly feel which made
use of the National Museums Scotland existing brand assets and huge variety of stunning photography. Generously sized images throughout, punctuated with similarly generous areas of white space and full bleed double-page divider spreads, lent this booklet a confident, light, airy and engaging tone that reflects the culture and values of the organisation and the welcoming environments that it operates.
